When President Joe Biden claimed that his administration had been able to protect sensitive sites from the Chinese spy balloon, many were skeptical.
After all, why would the president make such a statement when the truth is that the balloon was able to collect data and send it back to Beijing in real time?
This week, Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy pressed White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre to explain why Biden would have made such a false statement. Doocy asked Jean-Pierre, “On the China spycraft, why did President Biden say about the China spycraft in February, ‘We were able to protect sensitive sites against collection’ if that’s not true?”
Unfortunately, Jean-Pierre refused to answer the question and instead suggested that the reporting may have been in error. She said, “I’m not going to go into — dive into any reporting. That’s not something I’m going to do, I’m not going to confirm any reporting …”
It’s clear that Jean-Pierre was unwilling to answer Doocy’s question. The Biden administration’s claims that they were able to protect sensitive sites from the Chinese spy balloon appear to be false, and yet the press secretary had no explanation for why the president would have made such a statement.

This is not the first time the Biden administration has been accused of not being truthful. From the moment he entered office, Biden has been accused of lying about everything from his foreign policy to his economic policies.
Unfortunately, the Biden administration appears to have no qualms about misleading the American people. Worse yet, when pressed about it, the press secretary refuses to answer the question. This is not the kind of behavior that should be tolerated from any administration, much less the one that is currently in office.
