While we wait for election results to trickle in I wanted to discuss something I found extremely troubling. During a presser What House Press Sec Katrine Jean-Pierre was asked to respond to the recent arrest of a pro-life activist and unfair treatment of facilities that were attacked by left-wing extremists and her response is enough to make your blood boil.
So what’s the official response from the Biden White House? It’s not happening. On October 5th Paul Vaughn, 55 was arrested in front of his 11 children and wife in an early morning FBI raid—That didn’t happen, according to KJP. I suppose 4 agents did NOT knock on their family home and inform one of his small daughters that they were there to arrest their day.
That’s a crazy concept considering that Vaughn now faces 11 years in prison on charges that his local law enforcement agents dropped. Here’s the exchange between the reporter and KJP:
Reporter: Thank you, Karine. At a rally in Sioux City, Iowa, on Thursday, former President Donald Trump said the radical Democrats are locking up pro-life activists, and persecuting their political opponents. Just, what is your White House response?
Jean-Pierre: Clearly, that’s not true. I’m not going to say more than that. It’s just not true. It’s false. It’s a lie. It’s not true. So I’m going to move on.
What about the pro-life facilities? The ones that were vandalized, firebombed, and destroyed? One facility in New York has reportedly made several attempts to get its security footage back from the FBI to conduct its own investigation. Management over that facility reported that they have got nothing from the agency since their first contact.
The reporter attempted to ask KJP about hose cases but was instantly cut off. Again, it never happened:
Reporter: There’s this perception though that pro-life activists are being persecuted and, in the meantime, like, pro-life pregnancy centers are being attacked and —
Jean-Pierre: It’s not. It is just — that is just not something that I’m going to comment from here about what the former President said. It is — you know, I’m just not going to get anything further.
