In recent weeks, a controversy has been brewing between Americans and Anheuser-Busch. The beer giant has been facing backlash for their collaboration with trans activist Dylan Mulvaney and their celebration of “365 Days of Girlhood”. It’s a campaign that many feel is oppressive to biological women, and country music stars like Brantley Gilbert, John Rich, and Travis Tritt are speaking out against it.
At his recent concert, Gilbert was tossed a can of Bud Light and, after taking a look at it, he shouted “F*** that!” and smashed it to the ground. The country singer has been vocal in his support of former President Donald Trump and he’s not the only one in the country music industry to stand up against Anheuser-Busch’s decision to align themselves with a transgender activist.
Rich took to Twitter to ask his followers what beer should replace Bud Light in his bar, Redneck Riviera, in Nashville. Fans responded with suggestions and Tritt also joined in, saying he’d be deleting all Anheuser-Busch products from his tour hospitality rider and that many other artists were doing the same.
Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth addressed the controversy but his statement didn’t seem to appease either side of the issue. He said “We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people. We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer.” However, he made no mention of Mulvaney or the radical transgender ideology he promotes.
The campaign is a slap in the face to biological women who are already facing an onslaught of discrimination and oppression. Trans activists and companies like Anheuser-Busch seem to be more focused on pushing their own agenda than protecting the rights of biological women. It’s a tactic that has been used to silence those who don’t agree with their views.
Country music stars like Gilbert, Rich, and Tritt are standing up for the rights of biological women and against the oppressive woke pro-trans movement. It’s a movement that is silencing voices and oppressing those who don’t agree with their views. It’s time for more people to join the fight and stand up for what’s right.
