It’s a sad sign of the times when conservative commentators have to face death threats and hacking attempts just for speaking the truth. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened to the Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh.
In a recent podcast, Matt Walsh talked about how his Twitter account was hacked and his phone stopped working – a sign of a far deeper hack. He mentioned that “leftist and trans activists were giddy, they were cheering on the attack. They begged for my private messages to be released. They said that I deserved to be the victim of this federal crime.”
It’s no surprise that the same kinds of people who want to take away our basic freedoms of speech and expression are the same kinds of people who would resort to hacking and death threats. It’s a direct attack on the First Amendment, and it’s not something that should be tolerated.
These violent leftists and the woke left have been targeting anyone who speaks out against them and their radical agenda. They have zero tolerance for any kind of dissent, and they will do anything to silence anyone who speaks out against them or their ideas. It’s a dangerous mentality that needs to be stopped.
Fortunately, Matt Walsh is not afraid to stand up to them. He said, “I still will not back down by an inch or compromise at all. I’ve told you many times that I would rather be dead than surrender to these people and I meant it.”

He also said, “To all the people who are sending me death threats and posting my home address, and hacking my accounts, and trying to blackmail me, and threaten me,” he added. “Giving away my personal information, mass reporting me to get me de-platformed, and all the rest of it, I want you to know that nothing you have done, or will do, or could do will ever make me shut up.”
It’s important for us to stand up to the radical left and their attempts to silence us. We must not give in to their threats, and we must continue to speak out against their dangerous agenda. We have a right to our own opinions, and we have a right to express them. No one should be threatened or harassed for speaking out against those who oppose freedom of speech. Matt Walsh has set a great example for us all – let’s follow his lead and never back down.
