Political corruption in the Department of Justice is a hot topic these days, as former President Donald Trump faces criminal charges for the first time in U.S. history. On Thursday, it was announced that a Manhattan grand jury had filed a felony indictment against him over an alleged $130,000 hush money payment to porn actress Stormy Daniels.
Trump responded to the news, claiming that the case was an example of political persecution and election interference. He accused the Radical Left Democrats of engaging in a Witch-Hunt to “destroy the Make America Great Again movement” by lying, cheating and stealing.
Now, District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office is examining an alleged $150,000 payment to former Playboy model Karen McDougal, which could lead to additional potential charges against Trump. These accusations come after David Pecker, the former CEO of American Media, publisher of the National Enquirer, gave testimony this month that tied Trump directly to the payment to McDougal “and to an alleged broader scheme to suppress negative stories about Mr. Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign.”
Don Jr responded in a video calling the indictment “communist-level sh*t. This is stuff that would make Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot blush.”

The news of these criminal investigations has sparked questions and debates about political corruption in the Department of Justice. It appears that the DOJ has become a tool of the Democrats, used to target and prosecute political enemies. This is an extremely dangerous precedent to set and it cannot be allowed to continue.
It's more true now than ever before!!! pic.twitter.com/B3b58P3TEZ

The American people deserve a Department of Justice that is impartial, unbiased and independent. We need a DOJ that will make decisions based on the evidence and not on political ideology. We must ensure that justice is served, regardless of who is in power. Political persecution and election interference have no place in our society and must be rooted out wherever it is found.
It remains to be seen what will happen with the case against Donald Trump, but it is clear that political corruption in the Department of Justice must be addressed. We must ensure that justice is applied fairly to all, regardless of their political beliefs.
