It looks like the Democratic Party has officially become a circus. From their latest presidential candidate, Marianne Williamson, to their press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, it’s clear that the party has devolved into a joke.
Williamson announced her candidacy for the 2024 presidential election on Saturday, and on Monday, Jean-Pierre mocked her candidacy, referencing crystal balls and auras in an apparent reference to Williamson’s past as a spiritual adviser and self-help author.
I have to be honest here, until recently I had no idea who the heck Williamson was. She could be a spiritualist or whatever you call it. I have no idea and wouldn’t be surprised— With Biden running again in 2024, it’s sort of open season for Dems all over again.
“I’m not tracking that. I mean, if I had a – what is it called? A little globe here – a crystal ball, then I could tell you. A magic eight-ball or whatever. If I could feel her aura,” Jean-Pierre said while laughing, prompting others in the room to laugh.
One thing I do know about this Dem is that she lasted longer in the 2019 primaries than Kamalalalala Harris. So, there is that. Maybe that’s why Biden’s White House feels so defensive.
Williamson responded Tuesday in a video posted on Twitter, calling Jean-Pierre’s mocking disrespectful to someone running for president.
“I was so sad to see the commentary of the president’s press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, about me, about crystal balls, which I’ve never spoken or written about, and auras, which I’ve never spoken or written about, and just speaking so derisively and in such mocking terms about someone who is running for president of the United States and as a woman,” Williamson said in the video.

She’s not wrong, he did say he would fire anyone on the spot, but we all know that would never happen. Still, it’s kind of comical to watch the party implode on itself as fellow Democrats call out Biden’s hypocrisy.

It’s clear that the Democratic Party is more divided than ever, and this incident is just the latest example of that. President Biden has repeatedly said that he intends to run for a second term, but the White House has yet to make an official announcement.
Regardless of Biden’s intentions, this incident shows that his party is in disarray. There is no way the Democratic Party can be successful in the 2024 election if they continue to mock and disrespect their own candidates.
This is not the first incident of infighting and division within the Democratic Party, and it won’t be the last. It’s time for the Democrats to put aside their differences and work together to win the election. Otherwise, the party will be doomed to fail.
