As he and his family consider a reelection bid, Joe Biden allegedly expressed anger to associates over news headlines about his age. “You think I don’t know how f**king old I am?” he asked one of his “allies” according to Politico’s Jonathan Martin.
The president has tried to make light of his advanced age in public, as he repeatedly tells his critics to “watch me” as he continues racking up legislative successes.
“I have trouble even mentioning, even saying to myself, my own head, the number of years. I no more think of myself as being as old as I am than fly,” he said in an interview with CBS 60 Minutes in September.
“I mean, it’s just not– I haven’t– observed anything in terms of– there’s not things I don’t do now that I did before, whether it’s physical, or mental, or anything else,” he added.
At 78, he was already failing to keep up with the demands of the position when he took over, and it’s only going to get worse as time goes on. Let’s be realistic, these things don’t ‘get better’.
Furthermore, Biden’s age puts him susceptible to health problems. He has a history of medical issues and has had a number of major health scares in recent years. If he has a significant health problem while in power, it might have disastrous ramifications for the country.
Joe Biden is a walking, talking goofball. He’s made so many terrible gaffes throughout the years that it’s difficult to keep up. Realistically, can the country really handle 4 more years of him?
As far as his private little ‘snap’, it lines right up with what we already. Biden puts on this “Mr. Rogers act” for the cameras but talks like a mob boss the second he thinks he’s in private. We saw that after her interaction in Florida with Mayor Murphy. Biden said then that “you don’t F*ck with a Biden” while he was there responding to the disaster left by Hurrican Ian.
