In the recent White House press briefing, Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby why President Biden “let” Russia and China form a partnership “against the U.S.”.
Kirby attempted to explain that Russia and China have long held a negative view of the US, but Doocy interjected that Biden has “talked tough” about pressuring the two nations. Doocy then asked whether Putin and Xi “fear” Biden, to which Kirby responded that it’s not about fear but about Biden “advancing our foreign policy goals around the world”.
However, it is clear that Biden’s foreign policy is far from successful. Russia and China have formed a strong alliance in the lead-up to the Ukraine war, and Secretary of State Antony Blinken has even warned that China may decide to aid Russia with “lethal support”. Additionally, Biden has failed to take an aggressive stance against the war in Ukraine or to stop China from invading Taiwan.
It is evident that Biden’s “talk tough” approach is not working, and he is not doing enough to protect the U.S. from the two powerful nations. It is time for Biden to take a more assertive approach and to take action to prevent Russia and China from becoming an even greater threat to global security.
Unfortunately, Biden’s handling of Russia and China’s relationship has been nothing short of a disaster. While it is important to have diplomatic relations with other nations, it is also important to protect the US from foreign threats. Democrats have failed to recognize this, instead choosing to focus on political spin and rhetoric. It is time for the Biden administration to take a stand and show that they will not tolerate any foreign threats to the US or its allies.
The stakes are high, and Biden must take a more assertive approach to ensure that Russia and China do not take advantage of U.S. weakness and become an even greater threat to global security. If Biden continues down his current path, the U.S. will only become more vulnerable to attack or manipulation from Russia and China.
