In recent years, a growing trend of left-wing activists has emerged: targeting and attacking Republican lawmakers in public.

Just recently, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) became the latest victim of these aggressive attacks. On Monday night, Greene was eating dinner with her staff at a restaurant when a woman and her adult son approached her table.

“They had no respect for the restaurant or the staff or the other people dining or people like me who simply have different political views,” Greene tweeted. “They are self righteous, insane, and completely out of control.”

Greene’s deputy chief of staff Nick Dyer said that the woman “started berating” Greene, while the man began “screaming expletives at the top of his lungs.” Fortunately, the restaurant staff was able to remove the two individuals, and Greene and her staff were able to move to a different table.

Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. Last summer, Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was forced to leave a DC restaurant after a group of left-wing activists gathered outside. Both Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) have also been targeted during meals at restaurants.

It seems that the left has become increasingly hostile towards anyone who holds different political views. Instead of engaging in civil discourse and debate, they resort to aggressive behavior and personal attacks.

This type of behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. Republicans and Democrats alike should be allowed to express their opinions without fear of harassment or violence.

The left has been quick to criticize the GOP for their “toxic rhetoric,” yet they seem to have no problem with their own inflammatory words and actions. It’s time for them to take responsibility for their own actions and stop the targeting of individuals with different political views.

It’s time to put an end to this type of behavior once and for all. Republicans, Democrats, and all Americans should be able to express their opinions without fear of being threatened or attacked.
