I guess to the hacks at CNN, nothing spells oppression like two successful black men running for higher political office. Seriously, how stupid can they get with this race-baiting stuff? CNN’s Nadia Romero compared the Georgia runoff race between Sen Ralph Warren and GOP candidate Hershal Walker to slavery.
Romero begand by slamming the ‘bible belt’ for being mostly Christian, “runoff elections happening in the south in the Bible Belt, and states that were formerly slave-owning states. And that is why so many people, including the Georgia NAACP says that there is a racist element to why we have runoff elections as a total. ”
Just look at how she defends her point. Romero says that “If you have one black candidate, and then you had three or four other white candidates. Now all those white candidates can throw their power behind that white person, the white population can now throw their power behind that candidate and ensure that a black person could never win.”
Last time I checked, both candidates were black Americans so she is way off the mark there. She still continued to double down on that madness adding, “How could that be knowing that at times in the state the black population was up to some 40 percent, there’s always been black people in this state always voting, always a prominent force. But still, it took to 2021 before Raphael Warnock was able to make that achievement, that accomplishment, so here we are with this system that is in place.”
First off, this is the second time Warnock is up on the chopping block in runoffs because he doesn’t draw enough support to beat his opponents in a single race. That has nothing to do with race. Black Georgia voters aren’t mindlessly voting for Warnock because of his skin color because, contrary to what CNN wants you to believe, everything is not about race.

Secondly, neither men are white so her entire rant just made her look stupid in my opinion. Historically, Georgia has voted in and out people of all skin colors into various political positions. Warnock might be the first black senator in Georgia but he is hardly the first black politician to succeed in the state.
