The liberal media has been doing its best to cover up the truth of the Biden administration’s border crisis. Despite the facts, they’ve been trying to provide an alternate narrative that migrant crossings under the current president are virtually the same as under President Donald Trump.
This simply isn’t the case. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) encountered more than 250,000 migrants in the month of December 2022, the highest ever recorded, according to a Department of Homeland Security source who spoke with the Daily Caller News Foundation.
CBP reported more than 227,000 migrant encounters in September 2022, outpacing every other September on record, agency statistics showed. CBP encountered a record of over 2.3 million at the U.S.-Mexico border in fiscal year 2022.
As Republican New York Rep. Nicole Malliotakis noted, “[Biden], quite frankly, created this crisis at the beginning of his term via executive order.”
It’s time for Congress to step in and provide border agents with the tools they need. The GOP needs to hammer down the message that migrants must apply for asylum in other countries before trying to do so in the U.S.
This means adding more judges to hear asylum claims so the “tremendous backlog” can be alleviated. It also means increasing the number of work visas and family-sponsored visas.
The number of illegal immigrants entering the U.S. is rising and it’s becoming increasingly clear that this is a result of the policies of the Biden administration.
Unfortunately, the liberal media is trying to cover up the truth and instead is pushing a narrative of “virtually the same” between the Biden and Trump administrations.
It’s time for Congress to finally take action and address the border crisis. We need a comprehensive immigration plan that focuses on border security, enforcement of our laws, and providing a pathway to legal immigration.
We need to make sure that illegal immigrants are not given preferential treatment over those who are trying to come to the country legally. Unfortunately, under Biden, they are and that’s simply unAmerican.
Let’s put an end to the liberal media’s attempts at covering up the truth and start having an honest discussion about the border crisis. It’s time to put an end to illegal immigration and finally get the border crisis under control.
To do that we need politicians to get their heads out of their rears and stop the flow now.
