The liberal media has a habit of glossing over the issues that don’t fit their narrative. This has been proven time and time again, especially when it comes to Joe Biden. A recent PBS NewsHour discussion between Washington Post Associate Editor Jonathan Capehart and New York Times columnist David Brooks is a prime example of this.
Rather than discussing the damning evidence that has come out about Hunter Biden and his father Joe, the conversation focused on Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign and his “strength” despite the lack of “big scandals.”
Brooks even went as far as to say that any polling that showed Democratic hesitation about Biden was due to his age and not his policies.
This is simply not true. Joe Biden has gaffes almost every day, most recently telling Irish leaders at a banquet that the United States and Ireland should “lick the world.” Furthermore, an IRS whistleblower has alleged Hunter Biden has received “preferential treatment,” and the federal government has considered four charges against him.
‘Nothing to see here’, I guess…
Not only that, but the infamous letter by 51 former national security officials that declared the Hunter Biden laptop story had “all the classic earmarks” of Russian disinformation did not actually begin as an organic concern amongst former officials, but was in fact requested by current Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
Yet, the liberal media continues to ignore these issues and instead focuses on Fox News’ $787.5 settlement with Dominion. Even in this discussion, Jonathan Capehart spread fake news about Fox News, claiming that they did not cover the January 6 hearings.
It’s clear that the liberal media is more concerned with downplaying the issues surrounding Biden rather than actually discussing them. By ignoring the facts and spinning stories to fit their narrative, they are doing a disservice to the American people and proving that they are nothing more than the “lapdogs” of the Biden administration.
