Just when you thought border security couldn’t be more of a disaster, here comes the “Tren de Aragua,” setting up shop in not one, not two, but 16 states across the country! Yes, folks, according to Homeland Security, this ruthless Venezuelan crime syndicate has wasted no time spreading its influence, all thanks to our wide-open southern border and a federal government seemingly asleep at the wheel.
The news is equal parts shocking and depressingly predictable. While law-abiding Americans are trying to live their lives, violent gangs like the Tren de Aragua are apparently booking multi-state tours like they’re headlining a concert. But don’t worry—according to the Biden administration, the border is “secure.” Sure, and I’m the Queen of England.
The 16 states affected by this gang’s criminal operations include everything from drug trafficking to human smuggling, and the list keeps growing. Think about it: these criminals are gaining ground faster than some politicians can spin excuses. How did we get here? Maybe it has something to do with open-border policies that welcome virtually anyone, with little to no vetting, and a laughably slow deportation process. But, of course, Biden and his pals would have us believe this is just a “right-wing talking point.”
This development isn’t just a political failure—it’s a real-life nightmare for communities across America. While liberal elites lounge in gated mansions, everyday Americans are left to deal with the fallout. The Tren de Aragua doesn’t care about borders, laws, or decency. But, unfortunately, it seems neither does the current administration.
To be clear, this isn’t a story of “immigration reform” or a “humanitarian crisis.” This is about allowing dangerous criminals to infiltrate our nation unchecked. Conservatives have warned for years about the dangers of an unsecured border—and we’re seeing those warnings come to life in real-time. It doesn’t take a genius to connect the dots between lax enforcement and rising crime.
In classic fashion, Homeland Security issued warnings about the gang’s presence, as if that’s supposed to make us all sleep better at night. “Hey, just so you know, we let a violent crime syndicate scatter across the U.S.—but at least you’re aware!” Great. Maybe next, they’ll send a thoughtful “thoughts and prayers” email.
Americans deserve leaders who prioritize national security, enforce immigration laws, and ensure that criminal gangs don’t find a welcome mat at our front door. But with the current administration, it’s all optics, no substance—and we’re paying the price.
In the meantime, while Biden and his allies focus on their woke agenda, the Tren de Aragua continues its expansion tour. Here’s a suggestion for our leaders in Washington: stop worrying about politically correct virtue-signaling and start protecting American lives. Until then, it seems the bad guys are getting a free pass—courtesy of failed policies and a lack of accountability.
