Oh, here we go again with the glaring double standard in police response. Remember those “peaceful protests” in CHAZ, CHOP, Kenosha, Minneapolis, and Chicago?

Yeah, where the police were conveniently ordered to stand down while chaos unfolded. But hold on, when it comes to Washington D.C. last night, suddenly the police find their backbone and respond with force.

So, some folks decided to voice their opinions outside the Democratic National Committee, demanding a cease-fire in Gaza. But guess what? According to Capitol Police, it was “illegal and violent.”

Evacuating lawmakers, pepper-spraying demonstrators, and pushing them around seemed to be the go-to strategy. Oh, and let’s not forget the injuries – both protesters and officers got their share.

The organizers, from the self-proclaimed “progressive” Jewish anti-Zionist group, Jewish Voice for Peace Action, claim they were just peacefully engaging lawmakers.

Of course, the police have a different story, insisting the protesters were up to no good.

One demonstrator, Sumaya Awad, a member of the New York City Democratic Socialists of America, tells a different tale. Apparently, they were just standing there, arms locked, when the police decided to unleash “brute force” without a warning.

Someone even got pushed over a railing and ended up with a head injury. But who cares, right?

Capitol Police, unsurprisingly, had nothing to say about the incident, but they were quick to tweet about keeping back the “illegally and violently protesting” crowd.

It’s amazing how the tune changes when the location shifts from the streets of CHAZ to the doorstep of political power. Double standards much?
