On Friday, charges of attempted murder were filed against a former gang member and FBI informant, currently incarcerated, for the stabbing of ex-Minneapolis police Officer Derek Chauvin at a federal prison in Arizona.
John Turscak allegedly stabbed Chauvin 22 times at the Federal Correctional Institution in Tucson, expressing the intent to kill him if correctional officers hadn’t intervened promptly, according to federal prosecutors.
If you don’t know about the evil that ex officer Derek Chauvin actually committed, then you need to watch this now:
Serving a 30-year sentence for crimes associated with the Mexican Mafia gang, Turscak revealed to investigators that he had contemplated attacking Chauvin for about a month due to the former officer’s high-profile status as the convicted murderer of George Floyd. However, he later denied any intention to kill Chauvin, prosecutors noted.
The assault occurred in the prison’s law library around 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 24, the day after Thanksgiving. Bureau of Prisons employees intervened, providing life-saving measures to Chauvin, who was subsequently taken to a hospital for treatment.
Our country SUCKS! 94 year old veteran kicked out of nursing home to make room for illegal immigrants!
During post-assault interviews with FBI agents, Turscak claimed the attack on Black Friday was a symbolic gesture linked to the Black Lives Matter movement, widely supported following Floyd’s death, and the “Black Hand” symbol associated with the Mexican Mafia, according to prosecutors.
Turscak, 52, faces charges of attempted murder, assault with intent to commit murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, and assault resulting in serious bodily injury. The attempted murder and assault with intent to commit murder charges carry a maximum penalty of up to 20 years in prison each.
Court records do not list a lawyer for Turscak, who has previously represented himself in various court matters from prison. Following the stabbing, he was relocated to an adjacent federal penitentiary in Tucson and remained in custody as of Friday, according to inmate records.
Let me explain how racism works and is completely made up to SUCKER you in:
Attempts to seek comment from Chauvin’s lawyer were unsuccessful.
Chauvin, 47, had been transferred to FCI Tucson from a maximum-security Minnesota state prison in August 2022, serving concurrent federal and state sentences for violating Floyd’s civil rights and second-degree murder, respectively. His lawyer had previously advocated for keeping him out of the general population due to concerns about potential targeting by other inmates, resulting in Chauvin’s mainly solitary confinement in Minnesota.
