Once again, Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party have shown where their true loyalties lie: anywhere but with the American people. In a shocking move, Harris proudly announced $157 million in aid for civilians in Lebanon while many Americans, particularly those affected by Hurricane Helene, are still waiting for relief. This is not just a simple policy decision; it’s an outrageous display of the Democrats’ twisted priorities.
When will our own citizens come first? This administration’s continual neglect of the American people, while pouring billions into foreign countries, is nothing short of treasonous. While Lebanon may have its challenges, it is baffling that Kamala Harris, as vice president of the United States, can stand in front of the American people and tout this foreign aid package as some great accomplishment when countless Americans in need are being left in the dust. It’s as if our leaders are more interested in playing global benefactor than actually taking care of the people who elected them.
Where Is the Help for Helene Victims?
Helene victims continue to suffer without adequate relief, and that’s the real tragedy here. Entire communities have been devastated, with families displaced and livelihoods destroyed. Homes remain in shambles, and businesses are struggling to rebuild. For weeks, the residents of these areas have been crying out for help, but their pleas have fallen on deaf ears in Washington.
Kamala Harris, instead of addressing these desperate cries for help, is off in front of cameras, proudly patting herself on the back for shipping millions overseas. How is this acceptable? This administration has no problem sending taxpayer dollars across the globe, but when it comes to using those funds to help Americans who have lost everything, they’re suddenly nowhere to be found. The Biden-Harris administration is not only ignoring its own citizens but actively choosing to prioritize other countries over Americans in crisis.
America Last: The Democratic Way
Let’s be clear—this isn’t just about Kamala Harris. It’s about the entire Democratic Party, which has proven time and again that they do not care about America’s working class, struggling families, or disaster victims. Harris’ decision to allocate $157 million to Lebanon is emblematic of the Democrats’ America Last mentality. They will do anything to appear like global humanitarians, meanwhile, their own constituents suffer.
Is it any wonder why so many Americans feel abandoned by this administration? The Democrats are always ready to open their wallets when it comes to foreign aid, while simultaneously dragging their feet on providing relief to victims of disasters here at home. They champion the rights of every country but their own. They stand by and watch as their policies erode the very fabric of American life, but when it comes to offering real solutions to actual problems like hurricane relief, they’re missing in action.
Americans are sick and tired of watching their hard-earned tax dollars be funneled to foreign nations, all while their own roads are crumbling, schools are failing, and communities are drowning—literally. The people of Helene are just the latest in a long line of victims left in the cold by this administration.
Political Theater, Not Solutions
What Harris and the Democrats are engaging in is pure political theater. They want to be seen as international do-gooders, champions of the oppressed abroad, but what they really are is traitors to their own country. Every dollar sent overseas while our citizens suffer is a slap in the face to every American taxpayer. And yet, Harris smiles for the cameras, pretending that this is an act of benevolence.
Let’s not forget that this is the same administration that struggles to control inflation, can’t seem to protect the southern border, and has turned a blind eye to rising crime in cities across the country. But when it comes to appearing magnanimous on the global stage, suddenly they are flush with cash and eager to play the hero.
It’s all about optics for Harris and the Democrats. They want the world to see them as the champions of humanitarianism, but in reality, their focus on foreign aid while neglecting their own citizens reveals their true colors. They care more about global headlines than they do about the people who are suffering right here in America.
Where Are the Priorities?
Hurricane Helene was devastating, and the affected areas are still struggling to recover. Where is the immediate, robust aid package for them? Where are the millions of dollars in relief for American citizens who have lost everything? The answer is simple: It’s not a priority for this administration.
Kamala Harris and her Democratic cronies have made it clear that Americans aren’t at the top of their list. Whether it’s through their neglect of disaster victims, their failure to address the economic crisis, or their reckless open-border policies, it’s evident that they do not have the best interests of American citizens at heart.
What’s worse is that they expect us to applaud them for it. Harris touts this $157 million for Lebanon as if we’re all supposed to stand up and cheer. But why would we? This is just another example of the Biden-Harris administration’s gross mishandling of resources, and yet another reminder that we, the American people, are being left behind.
America Deserves Better
It’s time for the American people to demand better. We deserve leaders who will put our needs first, who will prioritize disaster relief for American citizens before handing out aid packages to foreign nations. The people of Helene and every other American community affected by disaster deserve immediate and significant relief—not to be left waiting while Kamala Harris grandstands on the world stage.
Kamala Harris and the Democrats have once again proven that they are more interested in pleasing the international elite than in taking care of their own country. They have shown us, time and again, that they are out of touch with the real struggles facing Americans today. We deserve leaders who will put America first, not America last. And it’s time to hold them accountable for their continued betrayal.
