Podcaster Joe Rogan, never one to mince words, has taken a wrecking ball to the collapsing house of cards that is the left-wing media. In his latest podcast episode, Rogan skewered the ideological echo chamber for hemorrhaging viewers and subscribers, pointing out that Americans are waking up to the overt bias and nonsense spewed by outlets like CNN, MSNBC, and The New York Times.
The discussion began with a nod to an op-ed from none other than Jeff Bezos, the Amazon founder and owner of The Washington Post. The piece, bluntly titled “The Hard Truth: Americans Don’t Trust the News Media,” was a rare moment of clarity from the liberal billionaire. Rogan summed up Bezos’ message as an admission that the media’s obsession with one-sided narratives and ideological groupthink is tanking its credibility—and its business.
A Media in Freefall
Rogan didn’t hold back as he described the ratings apocalypse faced by liberal media outlets post-election. “CNN’s ratings, MSNBC’s ratings – they’ve crashed,” Rogan said, barely concealing his glee. He extended the critique to leftist YouTubers who are also watching their subscriber numbers plummet. “All these left-wing kooks on YouTube are hemorrhaging subscribers,” he added, with obvious satisfaction.
The reason? According to Rogan, it’s simple: “People are saying, ‘You guys are out of touch, you’re not accurate, you’re delusional.’” The proof is in the pudding—or rather, in the declining subscriptions to The Washington Post and The New York Times.
The Froot Loops Fiasco
Rogan zeroed in on one particularly ridiculous example of left-wing media absurdity: a New York Times “fact-check” of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s statement about Froot Loops. Kennedy had pointed out that the breakfast cereal contains artificial ingredients banned in other countries but allowed in the U.S. The Times attempted to debunk this claim but ended up confirming it instead, albeit with a laughable spin.
“The New York Times fact-checked it, while saying he was accurate,” Rogan recounted, barely able to contain his disbelief. “Their fact-check says it’s not correct—they have the same ingredients… except for these harmful chemicals.”
Rogan and his guests roasted the absurdity of the situation. One guest quipped that the Times’ fact-checking made his “brain hurt,” prompting Rogan to declare, “This is what the New York Times is doing. Of course, you’re gonna hemorrhage subscribers. You’re crazy!”
A Crisis of Credibility
Rogan also dug into the motivations behind such bizarre reporting. He speculated that left-wing media’s hostility toward RFK Jr. stems from his perceived association with former President Donald Trump, which has become an unforgivable sin in the left’s moral hierarchy. “Left-wing rejection of RFK Jr. because now ‘he’s connected to Trump, which is connected to Nazis,’” Rogan mocked, highlighting the absurd mental gymnastics at play.
He didn’t stop there. Rogan suggested that the media’s desperate attempts to maintain its crumbling narrative may even be a deliberate effort to eradicate what little credibility it has left. “Are you secretly working for the Chinese?” he joked, questioning the media’s true motivations.
A Reckoning for the Media Elite
Rogan’s scathing critique comes as Americans increasingly abandon traditional media for more honest and independent voices. The media’s relentless virtue-signaling, fact-twisting, and ideological fanaticism have alienated everyday Americans who just want the truth.
And Rogan is far from alone in his assessment. Millions of viewers are turning off CNN and MSNBC, canceling subscriptions to The New York Times, and rejecting the sanctimonious drivel that has defined left-wing media for years.
In a world where trust is hard-earned and easily lost, the mainstream media’s refusal to engage in honest self-reflection is driving its own demise. Rogan’s message is clear: Americans aren’t buying what the left-wing media is selling, and it’s high time they pay attention.
The Bottom Line
Joe Rogan’s unfiltered takedown of the media elite is a wake-up call for anyone still clinging to the illusion that outlets like CNN and The New York Times represent unbiased journalism. As Rogan put it, “You’re crazy. You’re saying something that’s nuts.”
For a media landscape obsessed with preaching moral superiority, the irony couldn’t be more delicious. They’ve been exposed as out-of-touch ideologues, and their audience is voting with their wallets and their attention. The message is simple: adapt or die.
With a Trump resurgence on the horizon and the American public demanding accountability, the days of unchecked media bias may finally be numbered. As Rogan himself might say: Good riddance.
