President Joe Biden drew significant criticism when he responded sharply to questions regarding his involvement in an alleged bribery scandal.
Recently, Congress received a document from the FBI containing an informant’s account, which claimed that Biden had accepted a $5 million bribe from a Ukrainian
oligarch.
According to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), the document revealed that Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma, purportedly paid Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. It further disclosed that Zlochevsky had maintained 17 audio recordings of his conversations with the Bidens as an “insurance policy.”
In light of these revelations, Republican lawmakers affirmed that Joe Biden was referred to as the “big guy,” an alias originally disclosed by whistleblower Tony Bobulinski in connection to the Bidens’ dealings with a Chinese entity.
When questioned by a New York Post reporter about the use of the term “big guy” in the FBI informant file, President Biden responded with a dismissive remark, referring to the question as dumb.
This marked the third time he faced inquiries regarding the alleged bribery scheme in recent days.
On a previous occasion, Joe Biden evaded a question about the alleged audio tapes by nonchalantly shaking his head and walking away.
In another instance, he jokingly dismissed the bribery allegation as “malarkey” when confronted by a reporter, asking humorously, “Where is the money? I’m joking.”
According to polling data, a significant portion of voters—52 percent—believe that the Biden family received payments from foreign nationals to influence policy, while only 31 percent rejected this belief. The remaining 15 percent remained unsure.
In the midst of these developments, FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate refused to answer Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) during a Judiciary Committee hearing when pressed about the existence of the audio tapes. While admitting that the FBI possessed the form that referenced the 17 recordings, Abbate declined to provide further details, stating he wouldn’t delve deeper into the matter. He did claim that nobody was intentionally delaying or obstructing the investigation.
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) expressed his confidence in the FBI document, affirming that it was sourced from a highly credible informant. Comer revealed that the informant had received substantial compensation of over $200,000 from the FBI and speculated that they might also have ties to the CIA. Notably, this informant has been involved in such matters since the Obama administration.
Additionally, Comer disclosed that new bank records, expected to exceed $10 million, were forthcoming, potentially shedding further light on the extent of the bribery scandal. He estimated that the total amount uncovered could range from $20 to 30 million.
It is imperative that these serious allegations are thoroughly investigated to ensure accountability and maintain the integrity of our democratic processes. The citizens demand transparency and honesty from President Biden in addressing these allegations.
