As the leaves turn golden and the air becomes crisp, the spirit of Thanksgiving descends upon us, marking a cherished occasion where gratitude takes center stage. Beyond the bountiful feasts and family gatherings, Thanksgiving holds a rich history and plays a crucial role in fostering unity in our free and diverse society.  And although we humans keep fucking things up with our selfish, self centered ways, it’s important to at least try to think of unity, community and helping, not hurting, for at least some portion of our time on this earth.

A Brief History:

As you know, Thanksgiving traces its roots back to the early 17th century when a group of Pilgrims, seeking religious freedom, landed on the shores of what is now Plymouth, Massachusetts. Faced with a harsh winter, unfamiliar terrain, and uncertain futures, the Pilgrims formed a bond with the indigenous Wampanoag people. This collaboration led to a bountiful harvest in 1621, prompting a three-day feast to express gratitude for the blessings they shared.

Over time, Thanksgiving evolved into a national holiday, officially proclaimed by President Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War. Its historical significance lies not just in the feasting but in the acknowledgment of the power of unity, cooperation, and gratitude, values that continue to resonate in the fabric of our nation.  But, you will be reminded by liberals, how we stole this land from the American Indians, aka Indigenous People, and how we are all a bunch of colonizing cunts who have no right to celebrate today.  To that I say, load me up another plate of carbs and heavy starches, because I am going to celebrate until I have an insulin crash and I can be thankful for a plush couch where my fat ass will be kissing it. If you have such a problem with the horrors of 400 plus years ago, go Mr. Peabody and Sherman it back to that time period and pick up a bow and arrow and stand with the natives… if they don’t scalp and kill you first.

The Importance of Thanksgiving in a Free Society:

  1. Celebrating Diversity: In a nation as diverse as ours, Thanksgiving serves as a unifying force that transcends cultural and political divides. The shared tradition of coming together around a table, regardless of background or beliefs, reinforces the idea that, at our core, we are all human beings with a common need for connection and appreciation.  (Blah, blah, blah… we know this only applies if you aren’t white.  So shut the fuck up, whitey, this holiday is to remind you that you are still the problem for all the world’s social issues.)
  2. Gratitude in Action: Thanksgiving prompts us to reflect on the positive aspects of our lives, fostering a sense of gratitude. In a free society, where differing opinions often take center stage, taking a moment to appreciate our shared humanity helps build bridges and encourages empathy.  Except for when you speak about your opinions however, you know you can’t be thankful until every libtard is lobotomized ala’ Hillary Clinton “re programming” style, but it’s a far more likely chance that you will be rid of your values and morals, via some brain electrolysis stimulatory device, than they will.
  3. Family and Community Bonds: Thanksgiving emphasizes the importance of family and community. In a world that can sometimes feel divided, the holiday encourages us to prioritize the bonds that tie us together. Whether it’s a traditional family gathering or a community potluck, these shared experiences contribute to a sense of belonging.  Oh, I’ll be laughing in spirit with those of you who are looking to have that follow up argument with Aunt So and So about the vaccine at this year’s Thanksgiving feast. And even though you brushed up on some awesome counter points and facts to her ridiculous position on why she took it, I’m sure it would have been an awesome and uncomfortable back and forth for the whole family to cringe at, if she has survived the blood clot she got from taking it in the first place.
May her empty chair bring you a little bit of joy today and quiet “I told you so” within your mind. Just don’t let it show on your face.
  4. Acts of Kindness: Beyond the feast, Thanksgiving inspires acts of kindness and generosity. Many communities come together to provide meals for those in need, exemplifying the spirit of compassion that is essential for a thriving, free society.  Fuck it.  Just express kindness by telling the truth.  Kindness and niceness are NOT the same.  If your sister’s kids are grate A assholes who have absolutely zero discipline, then just let her know that those little bastards ruin every single holiday with their out of control antics and greasy little shit grubby fingers smearing everything, but you still love them and can’t wait until puberty hits and maybe their brains level off and they mature.  Who knows?  But the guy she married still will be a loser.  But remember, be kind… always.
  5. Looking Forward: Thanksgiving isn’t just a reflection on the past; it’s an opportunity to look forward with hope and optimism. It reminds us that, despite our differences, we are bound by a common purpose—to build a society where freedom, understanding, and kindness prevail.  Oh, please.  China bought and owns us.  By this time next year, we will be eating Peking Duck and children will be taught to replace their “L’s” with “R’s” as they give oral reports on the history of Lord Emperor Hunter Biden’s glorious adventures in hooker and blow land.  Weather balloons will be the new holiday decoration fad and marching in uniforms will be our new national past time.

In conclusion, Thanksgiving is more than a holiday marked by a feast; it is a celebration of unity, gratitude, and shared values. In a free society, these principles are the foundation upon which we can build a better future together. As we gather around tables laden with food and fellowship, let us remember the enduring importance of Thanksgiving in fostering the harmony that makes our nation truly great.

Bottom line, I am thankful for you and hope you have a fantastic holiday.  Be blessed, eat a ton, speak  your mind and just don’t be a cunt.
