One building affected by the bombing was a United Nations school, located just 173 feet away from Nasrallah’s bunker. This reprehensible strategy of using civilians as human shields further demonstrates the cowardice and brutality of Hezbollah and similar terror groups. Netanyahu was quick to hail Nasrallah’s death as a “historic turning point” in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. “Nasrallah was not just another terrorist; he was the terrorist,” Netanyahu remarked. “As long as Nasrallah was alive, Hezbollah posed a continual and existential threat to Israel. This victory is not just for Israel but for all who stand against tyranny and violence.
