It’s absolutely maddening that House Republicans dragged their feet in releasing their bombshell report, which lays out in excruciating detail how President Biden committed impeachable offenses by “actively participating” in a foreign influence-peddling scheme to enrich his family. The fact that Biden then deceived American voters by blatantly lying about his abuse of office only adds salt to the wound.
But what truly boils the blood is knowing that Biden will not face the accountability he so richly deserves from Congress. In a country that prides itself on the rule of law, it’s difficult to find a more clear-cut case for impeachment than the one where the sitting president is accused of selling access to the White House to foreign entities, including the Chinese Communist Party, for tens of millions of dollars.

The report, a collaborative effort by the House Oversight, Judiciary, and Ways and Means committees, was reportedly ready for release as early as April—back when Democrats were still pretending Biden was a viable candidate for re-election. Yet, the fear that up to 10 spineless House Republicans would balk at the idea of impeaching the president caused this damning report to be shelved until now. The committees concluded that “overwhelming evidence demonstrates that President Biden participated in a conspiracy to monetize his office of public trust to enrich his family.”
The allegations are shocking: Biden “actively participated” in his family’s influence-peddling schemes throughout his vice presidency and beyond, attending dinners and lunches with son Hunter’s foreign benefactors from China, Ukraine, Russia, and other corrupt countries, even speaking with them on the phone. The report lays out how “the Biden family and their business associates received tens of millions of dollars from foreign interests by leading those interests to believe that such payments would provide them access to and influence with President Biden.” Biden’s participation in this conspiracy not only exploited his office for personal gain but also defrauded the United States by lying about his actions.
These allegations are not just idle speculation; they are supported by bank records, documents, and testimony, largely thanks to courageous whistleblowers from the IRS, FBI, and even within Hunter Biden’s own circle. The cover-up by the CIA, FBI, DOJ, IRS, and State Department is also mentioned in the report and deserves intense scrutiny by the next Republican administration.

This isn’t the first time Biden’s corruption has been brought to light. The Johnson-Grassley Senate report of September 2020 was the first to expose this sordid tale. However, just like the current report by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and his colleagues, the media ignored and disparaged the findings while Democrats hoped the scandal would simply fade away. While Biden may escape impeachment, the meticulously detailed evidence laid out in the report will forever stand in the official record, a damning testimony against him.
Yet, as Biden was lauded with nauseating accolades during the Democratic National Convention, being hailed as one of the greatest presidents of all time, a man of such integrity and honor that he should be immortalized on Mount Rushmore, the cold hard truth was being unveiled in the halls of Congress. Biden’s supposed decency and integrity are now exposed for what they truly are: a smokescreen for a legacy of corruption and deception. Justice may still catch up with Biden and his family, as Comer suggests. “Joe Biden has to be held accountable for selling access to the White House. He sold out the country. If he gets away with it, that means there is no deterrent for other people to do the same thing…The real accountability will have to come in the criminal justice system.”
The Biden family’s grift is an open secret among Democrats, from Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi to Kamala Harris. Yet, these same individuals who turned a blind eye to Biden’s corruption are now complicit in covering up his cognitive decline and attempting to smuggle Kamala Harris into power without real scrutiny or accountability for her role in the Biden administration’s disasters.
Hunter Biden’s upcoming tax trial in California next month threatens to blow the lid off of Joe Biden’s role in the family’s foreign influence-peddling scheme. Comer believes that special counsel David Weiss is preparing to lay additional charges against Hunter under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, which could inevitably lead to his father. However, the Democrats are attempting to dodge this bullet by swapping Biden for Harris, thus robbing the voters of their chance to hold Biden personally accountable in November. Harris, who was complicit in the cover-up, will not be able to evade the wrath of the American people.
For Rudy Giuliani, the impeachment report serves as bittersweet vindication. Former President Donald Trump’s lawyer was right from the start about Biden’s corruption. Giuliani handed over a copy of Hunter Biden’s infamous “laptop from hell” to The Post before the 2020 election, but the story was censored by Big Tech at the behest of the FBI and falsely labeled as Russian disinformation by the “Dirty 51” former intelligence officials. Biden lied to the American people and got off the hook.
For his trouble, Giuliani was spied on by the DOJ for nearly three years over alleged FARA violations, with the investigation ultimately dropped without charges. Now, Giuliani is being persecuted and bankrupted by lawsuits orchestrated by Democratic law firms working pro bono. Trump was impeached for Biden’s sins, and now he faces a barrage of legal challenges that threaten to land him in jail.
In the end, a great deal of blood has been spilled to cover up Biden’s corruption. But now that Biden is no longer useful to the Democrat power brokers, Comer expects a trickle of disclosures from the State Department and DOJ as the media finally starts reporting the story as if they hadn’t been part of the cover-up. Even as Congress released its impeachment report, Biden was delivering a self-congratulatory speech at the Democratic convention, oblivious to the writing on the wall. His anger was unmistakable, as he thundered away, his neck bulging, pretending to praise Harris when he was really talking about himself.
As Biden’s political career draws to a humiliating close, the truth of the ancient Greek adage—character is destiny—is laid bare for all to see. The inevitable fate of a man who lived on lies may very well be the harshest justice of all.
