The infuriating debacle continues as the Biden administration caves in to the demands of illegal immigrants! In a shocking turn of events, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has shamefully reached a settlement with a group of immigrants, allowing them to stay and work in the United States, all while lavishing them with government benefits.

This outrageous development stems from a 2018 class action lawsuit filed by illegal immigrants against a policy implemented by former President Donald Trump.
Trump’s intention was to prevent the separation of immigrant children from their parents while processing their applications. And now, the spineless Biden administration, in a move that reeks of utter disregard for law and order, is paving the way for these individuals to reap the rewards.
If a federal judge approves this travesty, ICE will be barred from deporting members of this class action lawsuit for at least three long years.
On top of that, these immigrants will receive government-sponsored housing, medical insurance, and legal assistance to fast-track their asylum and citizenship applications. It’s an absolute slap in the face to law-abiding citizens who have waited their turn to enter the United States legally.

“The separation of families at our southern border was a betrayal of our nation’s values,” Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta wrote in a Department of Justice (DOJ) press release. “By providing services to these families and implementing policies to prevent future separations, today’s agreement addresses the impacts of those separations and helps ensure that nothing like this happens again.”
And if that wasn’t enough, “qualifying additional family members” of the class action participants will be allowed to flood into the U.S., leeching off the same benefits.
The settlement goes even further by preventing ICE from separating children from their supposed parents or legal guardians for the next six years. This handcuffs any incoming Republican administration in 2024 that might seek to reinstate the sensible border policies of the Trump era.
Of course, the fine print reveals that convicted felons or those with arrest warrants are not eligible for this program. Yet, this whole debacle remains a glaring example of the absurdity that has engulfed immigration policy in this country.

Meanwhile, as at least 1.6 million illegal immigrants crossed the U.S.-Mexico border in fiscal year 2023, even more immigrants are opting to cross illegally due to the abject failure of the Biden administration’s supposedly “expedited” application process. Thousands continue to breach our border every single day, with border patrol agents blaming the government’s utter lack of deterrence for this unchecked surge in illegal immigration.
Let’s not forget that at least 290 immigrant children and their families will now be feasting on the benefits provided by this despicable settlement. It’s a sad day when the concerns of those who entered this country legally are so callously ignored in favor of those who have blatantly disregarded our laws. The Biden administration’s betrayal of American values continues, and the outrage is both palpable and entirely justified.
