With all of the uncertainty that surrounds the Biden regime, there is one thing that we do know for certain; there has never been an administration as corrupt and full criminals as we’ve seen from this current administration. The newest member to come under scrutiny is Pete Buttigieg, and not for his delayed response to East Palestine, OH.

Caitlin Sutherland, executive director of Public Trust, expressed her satisfaction that Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s air travel is now under investigation after their organization discovered his over-use of taxpayer-funded government jets. This followed a Fox News Digital report which two months ago revealed that Buttigieg had taken at least eighteen private flights since assuming office early 2021.

In response, Buttigieg tweeted that an independent audit would put any “misleading narratives” to rest and stressed that he mostly flies on commercial flights and in economy class.

The use of private jets by public figures who advocate for reducing emissions and combating climate change has been widely criticized as a hypocritical practice which undermines their credibility on the issue. The report by Fox News Digital detailed some examples of Buttigieg’s usage of such planes, including a round trip from Washington D.C. to Las Vegas for the promotion of public works projects in Nevada, a tour of six states to highlight grants authorized under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and a military aircraft flight to attend the Fifth Invictus Games in Europe with his “husband” Chasten Buttigieg April 2022.

He has also accompanied his husband Chasten to the Fifth Invictus Games in Europe on a military aircraft, and taken a one-way trip to New York City for a radio interview and two meetings.

Although the US Department of Transportation (DOT) defended their decisions by insisting that career ethics officials – who have served under both Democratic and Republican administrations – had determined it was cost-effective or necessary for security or scheduling reasons; the fact remains that flying privately goes against the values which Secretary Buttigieg himself advocates for when it comes to fighting climate change and reducing emissions. This was similarly echoed by John Kerry when he faced criticism for taking a private jet to Iceland in 2021 while serving as Secretary of State and Climate Envoy.
