There’s an old saying to “be careful what you wish for, because you might just get it.” That adage can work in the crazy world of politics as well. Ever since Donald J. Trump walked down an escalator to announce his intention to run for president, the liberal left has been on the attack.
They never let up. Leading up to his successful defeat of crooked Hillary Clinton, Democrats tried to concoct a bogus Russian collusion hoax. By weaponizing federal law enforcement agencies, the left kept that false narrative going for the first two years of his presidency.
On more than one occasion, the liberal-controlled, Nancy Pelosi-run House of Representatives brought baseless impeachment charges against President Trump. Ultimately, the left resorted to manipulating a presidential election to fraudulently steal a second term from him.
After a protest against the scam election turned chaotic, the left raced to blame the former president. Many believe the left implanted operatives to trigger violence. Again, through Nancy Pelosi’s manipulative scheming, the left formed a commission to “supposedly investigate.”
The sham January 6 commission is nothing but a mechanism to stop him from running for public office. It’s been one of the biggest charades in U.S. history. More than a year after cheating to put “sleepy Joe Biden” in the White House, the left continued their attack.
In the wee hours of August 8, 2022, over two dozen FBI agents raided his Mar-a-Lago home. The U.S. Department of Justice alleged that President Trump took sensitive classified documents to his private residence. He didn’t.
The unprecedented raid was another attempt to discredit him. By many accounts, the FBI was hoping to fabricate evidence linking President Trump to January 6. This was just another in a long line of schemes and tricks designed to destroy the former president.
None of them have worked, but the left keeps pounding away. Gradually, through lies and false innuendos, Democrats have managed to dilute President Trump’s overall appeal. Many Americans are simply tired of all the chaos.
A number of conservative strategists are no longer certain President Trump will prevail in a head-to-head primary battle against DeSantis if the Florida governor chooses to run. But the left is still pounding away at the former president.
Democrats are obsessed with destroying him. From the outside, it appears that they might be winning this battle. But are they? Is the progressive left so consumed with the destruction of President Donald J. Trump that they’re going to sabotage themselves?
It appears that Democrats have created for themselves a rather perplexing conundrum. There are dozens of political experts who don’t think Joe Biden will beat President Trump a second time. It will be exceedingly harder to cheat now that pandemic-triggered voting rules are gone.
But what’s even more interesting is that there isn’t a single Democrat Party name that will stand a chance against ANY Republican nominee other than Donald Trump. Some insist that the closest race for the presidency will be between the former president and Joe Biden.
But a growing number of Americans don’t want either. The U.S. voter is screaming for new blood, both from liberals and conservatives. If the Democrats manage to block President Trump from running, they could well be shooting themselves in the foot.
At the moment, and things can rapidly change for an 80-year-old man who rarely knows where he is, Joe Biden says his “intention is to run in 2024.” Ironically, despite the worst presidential approval ratings in U.S. history, the rest of the Democrat Party field is even worse.
Democrats have no one. The current vice president is the most unqualified and unlikeable person ever to hold a high office in the U.S. federal government. “Cackling Kamala” Harris is a joke. “Pothole Pete” Buttigieg is about as appealing as electing Ichabod Crane.
Gavin Newsom and his perfect hair are about as Marxist as they get. It’s a foregone conclusion that Middle America will not vote for the ideology that’s turned California into a liberal cesspool. Democrats will quickly find out what Americans think about socialism if they nominate Gavin.
As a result, Democrats lack a viable candidate, someone capable of leading the world’s most powerful nation. But despite being projected as the only possible Republican they might beat, Democrats are still trying to trash and destroy President Trump.
Some conservative experts aren’t certain he can win in 2024. Any Republican alternative will overwhelm whomever the Democrats nominate. Moving to bar President Trump from public office may turn out to be one of those “be careful what you wish for” moments in history.
