The Biden regime’s open border policy has caused a humanitarian and national security crisis that is putting the lives of Americans at risk. Democrats own this disaster, but they may offer Alejandro Mayorkas as a ‘sacrificial lamb’ to distract the American public from the truth.
Despite Mayorkas’ lies about the security of the border, Americans shouldn’t be fooled into believing that he is solely responsible for this crisis, because he’s not. If you just take some time to do your homework, it become clear to see that the one we should really be blaming is Joe Biden himself.
Gavin Newsom, California’s radical leftie Governor, has even turned on the Biden regime over the issue and warned that a dangerous migrant surge could soon become a ‘tsunami.’ Tennessee Senator Bill Hagerty echoed these concerns, noting that axing Mayorkas isn’t enough to solve the crisis. This will require detailed investigations rather than simply pointing fingers at one individual and allowing Democrats to sweep this issue under the rug yet again.
Of course, Mayorkas deserves accountability for his part in this debacle; he should either resign or face impeachment, and possibly even indictments for lying to Congress. But if Republicans want to ‘catch the big fish,’ they need to focus their attention where it really belongs, on Joe Biden and his radical progressive left agenda. His poor decision-making has led to an alarming situation on our borders and it’s time for him to take responsibility for it.
Ultimately, America needs sound immigration policies that are both compassionate and secure, not an open-door policy that invites anyone in without question regardless of their intentions or qualifications.
If Republicans truly want to address this ongoing problem rather than just use it as fodder for campaigning purposes, they must investigate all those responsible with clarity and precision, and stop looking only at Alejandro Mayorkas as a scapegoat.
