A Fox News survey released on Sunday unveils that former President Donald Trump is significantly leading the Republican primary polls with 69 percent support, marking a seven-point increase from November.

Trump has emerged as the unequivocal favorite among GOP voters, witnessing a substantial 26-point surge in support since February. In contrast, less than one-third of Republican primary voters are endorsing all of Trump’s rivals collectively.
Notable percentages include 12 percent for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, nine percent for former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, five percent for businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, two percent for former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and merely one percent for former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson.
The poll indicates a decline in support for all of Trump’s opponents, except for Hutchinson, over the past month.
Furthermore, Trump performs well in a hypothetical general election matchup against President Joe Biden, securing a four-point lead among survey respondents.
This aligns with similar figures from other national polls, such as the Reuters/Ipsos survey, which showed Trump leading Biden by two points, and a recent Messenger/Harris poll, indicating a seven-point lead for Trump.

However, an interesting finding from the Fox poll is that Nikki Haley slightly outperforms Trump in the general election polls, hypothetically beating Biden by six points.
The poll notes a tie between DeSantis and Biden, signaling a shift from August when Biden was narrowly ahead of all three candidates.
In a head-to-head match against Trump, the survey reveals that 5 percent of Biden’s 2020 voters would defect to the Republican camp.
Conducted from December 10-13 by Beacon Research and Shaw & Company Research for Fox News, the poll interviewed 1,007 randomly selected registered voters nationwide.
The margin of sampling error is reported as plus or minus 3 percentage points for all registered voters, plus or minus 4.5 points for Democratic primary voters, and 5 points for Republican primary voters.
