On Wednesday, reports surfaced that Special Counsel David Weiss is expected to indict Hunter Biden after a tax plea deal fell apart earlier this summer.

U.S. District Attorney Weiss’ team sent a letter to U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika notifying him that an indictment of Hunter Biden is expected to take place by the end of the month.
The letter to Judge Noreika states that in order for Hunter to receive a speedy trial, an indictment must be brought forth prior to September 29, 2023 and thus the government “intends to seek the return of an indictment in this case before that date.”
