We saw it in full force in 2018 with her vague and lackluster congressional testimony, as Dr. Christine Blasey Ford wailed her accusations of rape against then, yet to be confirmed, future Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
The nation sat divided over a single concept: “believe all women”.
Thus a movement was born #MeToo, where all it took was the word of a woman against any man and the liberal left insisted that she be believed, no matter the proof, facts or evidence.
In the spirit of Twana Brawley, this common practice of the feminine power display continues. I saw this as a cop all the time.
In our department policy, when we responded to a “domestic violence” call, the policy read “must arrest” if we saw any signs of physical contact between the complainant and subject. And I cannot tell you how many times my gut would tell me that the female half on the scene, would scratch her own arm, face or neck to leverage that policy and have us haul off the male half in handcuffs.
Even worse was our chief’s unwritten policy of, “take them into custody and have the state’s attorney decide” if she pressed hard enough and there was no visible signs of contact at all.
On August 14th 2023, the nature of this continued onto social media for myself.
Social media has gone from posting cute pictures and videos of your puppies or the 8lbs bass your kid caught on his first cast, to all out lies and propaganda, and even I fall into the back and forth of comment wars to defend accusations.
I ran for Cook County Sheriff in 2018 (Chicago) and discovered first hand the exhausting task of non stop putting out fires from accusation of half truths and all out lies, where today, five years later, they don’t matter at all.
But we are still in an age of where women, specifically, can ruin a man’s reputation just by casting a shadow.
An example of such is International Federation of Body Builders Professional ambassador (IFBB) and Sunrise Terrace Assisted Living and Memory Care owner / operator Renae Wegner who, for whatever reason she decided, woke up and chose an online war against me because she did not like something I posted.
The IFBB pro and representative and Sunrise Assisted Living owner decided to post a string of online back and forth comments, none of which were abnormal for arguments, but it wasn’t until she posted “Dominick Izzo you are also a womanizer. Maybe some of your followers would like to see screenshots of the DM’s you send women.” that got my attention.
Now, this is nothing new and has been a threat of the female gender for as long as I have been a man: shame the man for his sexual advances. And with most men, it works and that is why women use it. But honestly, I asked she post any and all “screen shots” and of course, she didn’t.

But the IFBB pro and assisted living owner continued all through the day, continuing through the public forum, non stop with “lol” after almost every post, showcasing her compulsive and obsessive need to be validated and heard, all the while, you guessed it, projecting that I needed validation. And she’s not wrong. Who doesn’t want validation? I just don’t put out lies and if I make a statement that is false, I publicly apologize for it.
But as she continued and I ignored her DM’s Wegner went the expected route of what scorn women do when they don’t get attention: she swung for the passive aggressive fence and accused me of being a pedophile, this year’s “racist” label.
“I didn’t realize he was this bad of a scumbag. Truly. He probably goes after minors too.. Creepy.” Wegner responded in the comment section to another poster.
And that is where this always gets fuzzy. It’s the carefully worded, passive aggressive, “oh, well I heard he might rape children” comments that women always resort to, right along side referencing a man’s penis length, when the are losing the fight so badly, they have to claw their way out of the mess they shoveled over themselves.
This is an ambassador of one of the most elite fitness organizations in the world and the owner / operator of a place where people entrust their loved ones, losing herself in the petty battle over a difference of opinion. And the worst part is, all I had to do, was meet her once and she could have cried “rape” and I would have been the subject of police investigation. That is how much power women have over men and how they irresponsibly use it for their own pride and self esteem.
Wegner was so upset she posted my own words to a forum on Facebook where women hide in private to collude against men they have dated or had a falling out with. She admitted she had never met me, but she had some things to say about me. Power in numbers. And women always are believed.
We are at a time where men are no longer safe with women, full stop. Private Facebook groups such as “Are We Dating the Same Guy?” are platforms where women can literally lie and make anything up about men, simply by posting his picture and starting their own personal gossip column and thousands of women participate and spread the rumors, all under the heading of a feminist sisterhood meant to keep misogyny at bay.
Women know this and take full advantage of it, cry “he raped me” with no evidence or facts, ruin a man’s life and then skate all responsibility once they are proven to have purposely lied about it.
The solution? Who knows? Avoid women? Video and audio record them on every turn? Or maybe just sleep with one eye open and always remain ready for the other shoe to drop with them.
Whatever the outcome, women are (generally speaking) vindictive when it comes to being aligned with a challenge from a man and will stoop to the lowest of levels to win. No matter the cost to the man, because the spotlight for their lack of integrity never seems to shine upon them.
