On Monday’s episode of The View, Whoopi and her cronies tried to discredit Senator Tim Scott’s launch of his 2024 presidential campaign.
Hostin said she didn’t know Scott’s message would resonate with anyone. Then Whoopi said that he had “Clarence Thomas syndrome” and accused him of using a racial “dog whistle” in his speech.
Whoopi and her liberal cohorts are trying to discredit Senator Scott’s remarkable story of resilience and hard work. He was raised in a poor single-parent household. He is now a US Senator representing South Carolina, and he has championed policies to help Black and Brown Americans.
Given Whoopi’s crusade against Senator Scott, let’s look at the transcript from the episode. Here’s what Whoopi said:
“If you’re running for president, you got to do more than that. You have to represent us as a nation and then say, ‘And as a Black man this is also how I feel,’ but you can’t pretend that it’s not there, that it’s not an issue for the people you’re running – for the party you’re running for. They are, in part, the problem.”
Senator Scott is doing just that. During his launch, he said, “Victimhood or victory? Grievance or greatness? I choose freedom and hope and opportunity.”
He has done the hard work of navigating poverty and now wants to address racial injustice by unifying the nation and making it a better place for everyone.
What Whoopi has wrongfully labeled as a “dog whistle” is actually the same message as a speech made by the late-Rep. John Lewis. He said, “When you see something that is not right, not just, not fair, you have a moral obligation to say something.”
Senator Scott’s dedication to helping the community and his message of racial harmony is not a sign of tokenism. He’s in office because of his hard work and dedication to making the world a better place. His message is one of freedom, hope, and opportunity. He is a leader who wants to bridge gaps instead of widen them.
Unfortunately, the liberal cast of The View does not share the same vision, and they are using their platform to attack Senator Scott’s ideas instead of having a fair debate. Their approach is unfair and defeats the purpose of a healthy dialogue.
Senator Scott’s 2024 presidential campaign is based on inclusion – something the liberal cast of The View obviously disagrees with. They want him silenced and for his vision to never be heard. But he will not be silenced because he is a leader who does not back down and will continue to fight for what’s right.

The attacks on Senator Scott are a testimony to the political elites’ unwillingness to accept change and address real racial and social issues.
He’s a leader who is trying to bridge the divide between the two parties, and they’re using his skin color to try and discredit him.
That’s wrong, and we should call it out.
I’d like to see Goldberg list her contributions to society. I don’t know why the left is so obsessed with skin color but it’s played the hell out.
