The corruption of Democrats was on full display during the House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government’s Thursday hearing.
Texas Rep. Sylvia Garcia attempted to use her five-minute allotted time for questioning well beyond its expiration. However, her attempt to push her agenda was shut down by Chairman Jim Jordan.
“Gentlelady, this is my time. I’ve been recognized. Thank you,” Rep. Darrell Issa, a California Republican, interjected. When Chairman Jordan turned the conversation back to Rep. Garcia, she interrupted him saying, “I don’t need educating. I’m educated. Mr. Chairman, I did not need to be demeaned. I am a lawyer, just like this gentleman is. I too have read the law. We just have a big difference of opinion…”
However, Garcia was not the only one who attempted to pass her agenda. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz also argued that two witnesses do not qualify as whistleblowers. This continues the trend of Democrats pushing for their liberal agendas while attempting to discredit their opposition.
Rep. Sylvia Garcia tells one of the witnesses in this Weaponization hearing, Garret O'Boyle, his testimony includes no whistleblower revelations. He says that's not true. Here's his testimony: https://t.co/VRThILgmPT

Chairman Jordan, however, was steadfast in his support of the whistleblowers. “Someone needs to tell the Democrats you came and talked to this committee because you’re a whistleblower. Isn’t that right Mr. Leavitt? That’s exactly how it works,” Jordan asked Empower Oversight president Tristan Leavitt.
In other words, it is evident that Jim Jordan recognizes the importance of whistleblowers.
What happened during the hearing was more than simply a case of Democrats attempting to push their agendas. This was a case of Democrat’s attempting to demean their opposition, in this case Jim Jordan. It is ironic that some Democrats would attempt to silence Jim Jordan, a legislator who has a long history of standing up for whistleblowers.
When investigating corruption, it is imperative that Congress allow whistleblowers to report their cases in a secure environment.
This is why Jim Jordan has been a passionate advocate for whistleblowers in the past, and it is why this recent incident should serve as an example of why whistleblowers are important to the safety and security of our nation. It is why Jim Jordan should be commended for his unwavering stance in support of whistleblowers.
