In recent years, liberal politicians and their media sycophants have been pushing a narrative that gender is a spectrum and that there are more than two genders. But is this really true?
The simple answer is no. Biology, not politics, decides gender. It’s well established that there are two genders: male and female. This is the scientific consensus, and it has been for centuries.
But why are people trying to push this idea of multiple genders? It’s part of the larger “woke” culture that has been gaining steam in recent years. It’s an attempt to redefine the traditional gender roles and challenge the status quo.
However, this isn’t based on science. In fact, some of the highest-profile figures in the media have been parroting this anti-scientific narrative. This was the case on NBC’s Meet the Press recently, when moderator Chuck Todd argued with GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy over second-grade biology.
Todd argued there was “a lot of scientific research” proving gender is a spectrum. But in reality, there isn’t one example of actual, legitimate scientific research that proves this.
Ramaswamy was much too polite and tolerant towards Todd when he told him he “respectfully disagree[d],” and explained that “Gender Dysphoria for most of our history all the way through the DSM-5 has been characterized as a mental health disorder.”
He then made the point that it’s cruel to indulge in the delusions of those with Gender Dysphoria and instead suggested they get help.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the only example of liberals pushing this narrative. Democrats have been using transgender issues to divide and conquer, and some have been using emotional blackmail to coerce people into accepting their view.
It’s important to remember that biology, not politics, decides gender. We should focus our energy on helping those who suffer from Gender Dysphoria, not creating more of it. We should reject the woke narrative on gender and hold liberals accountable for their attempts to push this false narrative.
