Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, recently made a statement in which he doubled down on his sentiment that parents and doctors should be held criminally accountable for pushing gender surgeries on children.
In a tweet, Musk stated that mature, consenting adults should be allowed to do what they wish, so long as they don’t harm anyone else. He then added that a child is too young for any kind of consent and leaping to a permanent solution that sterilizes them for life before they can possibly consent for themselves is wrong, plain and simple.
In response to a 2016 story about an 18-year-old male who allegedly died when doctors tried to create a vagina for him using part of his colon, Musk said that any parents or doctors who do this should go to prison for life.
This follows a statement he made earlier this month, where he said that any parent or doctor who sterilizes a child before they are a consenting adult should go to prison for life.
Musk is not alone in his belief that transgender treatments should not be forced on minors. A comprehensive study in Sweden that was published in 2019 showed that transgender persons had an increased risk for suicide attempts and psychiatric inpatient care, compared to those of the same birth sex.

At its heart, forcing trans ideologies on to impressionable children is divisive, exclusionary, and hateful. It gives mean people a shield to be mean and cruel, armored in a false sense of virtue.
It’s important that parents understand the implications of forcing a child to undergo medical treatments that may not be in the best interest of the child.

It’s also important for parents to remember that their children are still growing and changing and that they will go through an identity crisis at some point in their lives.
It’s important that parents be there to support their children and to help them find the answers they need to make an informed decision about their own bodies and identities.
Ultimately, it’s up to parents to make sure their children are safe and not being forced to make decisions that could be detrimental to their physical and mental health.
If you suspect that your child is being subjected to transgender treatment before they are able to provide consent, it’s important to take action and speak up. No one should be forced to undergo treatments that may not be in their best interest.
