Everyone is wondering what’s next for Tucker Carlson. Reports are saying that the former Fox News host was “totally surprised” and had “no idea” that he was being fired. It appears the firing was initiated by Fox Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch and other executives, in response to a discrimination lawsuit filed by a former producer of Carlson’s show.
An insider explained to Mediate that Carlson was caught off guard by the news. Kind of understandable considering his show was number one in the country.
This news comes as a shock to many, as Carlson’s show was one of the highest-rated cable news shows and he advocated an isolationist national policy on the program. It’s a huge blow for Fox News as Carlson was one of their biggest names.
That being said, it might be for the best that Tucker Carlson is now on his own. He was one of the few conservative voices on Fox News, often speaking out against the mainstream media, violence from leftist groups, and Fox’s own reporting. He was probably more comfortable going against the grain than conforming to Fox’s often-conservative views.
Now that he’s out of Fox News, Tucker Carlson has the freedom to continue to speak his mind without network interference. While the network may have provided him with a platform, it also put a bit of a muzzle on him. Now, Carlson is free to express his opinions without having to worry about censors or going against the mainstream.

It’ll be interesting to see what Tucker Carlson does now that he’s out of Fox News. He has a huge following and there’s no doubt that he will continue to be a strong voice in the conservative movement. Perhaps he’ll take his show on the road and speak at events, or start his own podcast, or launch his own network. Whatever he does, it’s sure to be entertaining and controversial.
No matter what Tucker Carlson does next, one thing is for sure: he’s better off on his own. He’s free to be his authentic self and speak his mind without having to worry about network censors or going against the grain. Tucker Carlson is a unique voice in the conservative movement and it’s great to see him have the freedom to express his opinions without any interference.
