The liberal news media loves to jump on stories that fit their narrative, and the story of Jussie Smollett was no different. On January 29th, 2019, the world was shocked to hear that the ‘Empire’ actor was attacked in Chicago by two men who shouted racist and homophobic slurs at him. He was also said to have had a noose tied around his neck and to have been splashed with some kind of bleach.
Shockingly, this was all a hoax, a made-up story that Smollett used to try and gain sympathy and attention. Two brothers, Olabinjo Osundairo and Abimbola Osundairo, were involved in the hoax and recently appeared on Newsmax to recount their part in it. Olabinjo said “We were going to be covered up anyway, because it was so cold, like 20 degrees below zero, so we went and bought all of our materials during the day. And we also were staying in character.”
He then went on to say “so we were on time and my brother and I got there actually 40 minutes early, so we just had to walk and parade the area and it was cold as a motherfucker, so it was tough”. Newsmax host Eric Bolling had to stop him from cursing and reminded him not to use such language.
The brothers also revealed that Smollett was allegedly “scared” to be hit too hard and that they have not heard from him since. This is yet another example of the liberal news media buying into a story that fit their narrative and not looking into the facts. It’s simply inexcusable.
The story of Jussie Smollett is a perfect example of why the media should be wary of what we read in the news. The liberal news media loves to sensationalize stories to fit their agenda, and we should not be fooled.
I guess it would be asking them too much to take a pause in a situation they feel like they could cash in on. Smollett’s original story was just too sweet of a story to pass up. It had everything, MAGA villains, anti-LGBTQ, and a racist hate crime. No one stopped to wonder why in hell anyone would be wondering around Chicago with a noose.
