The Biden Administration and Democratic Party have been quick to condemn Republican lawmakers in Tennessee for their recent vote to expel three Democratic representatives who participated in a gun-control protest following a shooting in a Nashville elementary school that killed three children and three adults.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre called the move “undemocratic” and “without precedent,” and demanded that Congress take action to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, require safe storage of firearms, and eliminate gun manufacturers’ immunity from liability and require background checks for all gun sales.
But, when it comes to defending the rights of Americans to protect themselves, the Democrats and Biden Administration have been all talk and no action. It’s hypocritical for them to condemn the actions of Tennessee Republicans while they do nothing to ensure gun owners have the right to protect themselves.
It’s also hypocritical that the Biden Administration and Democratic party have been so quick to condemn the Republicans in Tennessee, while they remain silent on the actions of the Democrats as protesters stormed the State’s Capitol.
The fact that the Biden Administration and Democratic Party are pushing for stricter gun control measures in the wake of this tragedy demonstrates their true agenda – to restrict the rights of law-abiding citizens to own and bear arms. It’s an agenda that is completely at odds with the Constitution and the Second Amendment.

The truth is, the Democrats and Biden Administration are out of touch with the American people on the issue of gun rights. A majority of Americans believe that the right to bear arms is a fundamental right, and that any attempts to restrict this right should be done cautiously and with the input of the people.
It’s time for the Biden Administration and Democratic Party to stop their hypocritical posturing and start listening to the American people on the issue of gun rights. It’s time for them to put the safety and security of the American people first and recognize that the right to bear arms is a fundamental right that should not be infringed upon.
