It’s no secret that Democrats have weaponized the justice system to target former President Donald Trump and other conservatives. This was made clear in the aftermath of his recent arrest in Manhattan.
In a post-arrest speech, Trump tore into the investigations he faces and said that Democrats “cannot beat us at the ballot box, so they try to beat us through the law.” It’s an easy conclusion to come to when you consider that he’s the first former president ever charged with a crime.
He went on to say that “we are a nation in decline and now these radical left lunatics want to interfere in elections by using law enforcement.” He then proceeded to call out the prosecutors in Atlanta for their investigation into his effort to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia, the New York state investigation into his business, and the federal investigation into his handling of classified documents.
Trump is right to be concerned about the weaponization of the justice system. It’s a tactic that Democrats use to try and score political points, even if the investigations and charges don’t hold up in court. It’s a tactic that should be condemned and that goes against the basic principles of justice in our country.
The good news is that Trump remains confident that he will be exonerated. He closed his speech by saying “the only crime I have committed is to fearlessly defend our nation from those who seek to destroy it.”
While the liberal media spins the narrative that Trump will use the indictment to drum up votes in the upcoming election, the same is expected from the Biden administration.
Biden has nothing to run on. Democrats have had 8 flipping years to form a message and they’re still stuck on Trump. Biden, especially, needed this indictment. Have you seen his approval ratings? He’s out there making Jimmy Carter’s adminstration look good.
This is a sentiment that should be echoed by all those who value justice and fairness. The Democrats should not be allowed to use the justice system as a political tool. It’s a dangerous practice that can have disastrous consequences for our nation and for our democracy.
It’s time for all Americans to come together and put an end to this weaponization of the justice system once and for all. Americans need to get out and vote out scheming Democrats and RINOs.
