Adam Kinzinger may have recently left his seat in the House of Representatives, but it seems he still wants to rake in the dollars.

The former Republican (a true RINO) representative from Illinois, who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump on charges of “incitement of an insurrection” in 2021, has been caught red-handed in his attempt to cash in on his political capital.

It’s recently come to light that Kinzinger’s political action committee, Country First, had been offering signed copies of the final report of the now defunct January 6 select committee – of which Kinzinger was one of two Republican members – bound in book format for a whopping $100.

Handselected by former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Kinzinger was part of a committee which was tasked with investigating the events of January 6 at the Capitol. The listing, which has since been removed, was described by Country First as “perhaps the most vital congressional investigation in American history.”

She certainly knows how to pick’em…

It seems that Kinzinger isn’t content just to make money from the report, as he is also offering signed baseballs for sale on his PAC website for $50 a pop. The listing for the baseballs reads “Our Sacred Sandlot is being threatened,” and encourages people to buy the baseballs to “become part of the solution.”

It’s a pretty bold move for a former congressman who only recently said that he was leaving office to “make a difference” and that “my passion for this country has only grown.” It seems that Kinzinger’s passion for money has grown instead.

Furthermore, shortly after Kinzinger’s money-making scheme was revealed, he was snapped up by CNN as a senior political commentator, making his debut appearance on the network this month.

It seems that Kinzinger has found a new way to earn money, and it’s not through making a meaningful difference in the world as he claimed he wanted to. He’s simply cashing in on his political capital, and it’s a shame to see a former congressman resorting to such cheap tactics but not surprising given who we’re talking about.
