Brent Bozell, the president of MRC Business, claims that a recent investigative investigation has revealed the extent of leftist billionaire George Soros’ power over the world’s media. In addition, he chastised the leftist media for mostly ignoring Twitter CEO Elon Musk after the latter disclosed internal communications on Twitter’s efforts to resolve the Hunter Biden laptop controversy.
Trace Gallagher, host of Fox News, applauded MRC Business’s work for “breaking the bombshell” that George Soros had “his fingers on literally media companies around the world.”
Bozell revealed that they have uncovered, “253 organizations — media organizations — worldwide” connected to Soros via his enormous funding operation at Open Society Foundations. “When you look at the Poynter Institute — a big fact-checker — it’s funded by George Soros. How many people know that when you go on Google, and you look up something, immediately you get Wikipedia — funded by George Soros.”
Bozell’s analysis of what it means for a radical millionaire like Soros to have such sway over information flow was unwavering: “He despises the Judeo-Christian culture. With the $36 billion he is spending, he is on a mission to demolish the foundations of Western civilization. “This is a dangerous man.”, he said in conclusion.
Bozell’s shocking revelation of Twitter’s extensive censoring of the New York Post story about the Hunter Biden laptop issue was first covered by MRC Business. Bozell criticized the networks for ignoring the “elephant in the newsroom” and labeled it a “censorship of censorship.” This is a significant story. But Trace, look what’s occurred. When they’ve just decided — something comes out, this major story arrives, and nothing!, you cannot claim that the mainstream media is not an arm of Joe Biden’s administration.
I find it interesting that in every major attempt from the left, you can almost always find a Soros link.
Soros was the largest donor to Democrats during the midterm elections but MRC Business says that’s “just a drop in the bucket compared to the over $32 billion he pumped into his Open Society Foundations (OSF) since 1984 to shape politics to his liking on a global scale.”
Soros is tied to The Marshall Project, the Biden administration’s since-dismantled Disinformation Governance Board, Project Syndicate, openDemocracy (based in the United Kingdom), the Poynter Institute’s International Fact-Checking Network, NPR, ProPublica, Free Press, a “litany of left-wing activist groups,” and a plethora of other outlets. Many of the outlets Soros helps bankroll are relied on by Big Tech and other journalists as sources of information, while others simply echo left-wing talking points.
