Out-of-Touch Hollywood Elite Harrison Ford Endorses Kamala Harris, Yet Again Lecturing Americans on Politics

Once again, Hollywood elites are trying to sway Americans with their political opinions—this time, it’s Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford, who took to social media to endorse Kamala Harris for president. In a video for the Harris-Walz campaign, Ford calls Harris the “reasonable candidate” and takes swipes at Donald Trump, painting him as a dangerous choice. It’s yet another example of a multi-millionaire actor trying to tell hardworking Americans how to vote, as if his fame qualifies him to understand the daily struggles of American families.

Ford’s endorsement claims to be based on statements from former Trump administration officials who have since opposed Trump. “When dozens of former members of the Trump administration are sounding alarms, saying, ‘For God’s sake, don’t do this again,’ you have to pay attention,” Ford said, as though Americans needed a lecture on how to interpret political discourse. He went on to address Republicans, suggesting Harris would somehow protect “the right to disagree”—despite her recent remarks that indicate a disregard for religious freedom and respect for pro-life beliefs.

Ignoring Harris’s Controversial Stance on Religious Freedom

While Ford claims that Harris will allow Americans to “disagree” with her policies, recent statements from Harris show a different story. Harris recently indicated that she would not honor religious exemptions for healthcare providers who object to performing abortion procedures. This stance, which disregards religious freedom, has raised concerns among conservative voters. But Ford, safely sheltered in Hollywood, is apparently blind to the values many Americans hold dear.

Hollywood’s Hypocrisy on “Science” and “Unity”

In another clip, Ford asserts that Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, “believe in science” and “govern for all Americans,” attempting to paint Trump’s campaign as rooted in “scare tactics.” However, Ford’s statement conveniently skips over the divisive rhetoric from the Harris-Walz campaign, including labeling Trump a “fascist” and Biden’s derogatory remarks about Trump supporters. It’s hypocrisy at its finest when Ford talks about unity while endorsing candidates who actively demonize half the country.

Americans Are Tired of Out-of-Touch Celebrity Endorsements

In a final pitch, Ford suggests that Americans should look at who is “trying to scare you into voting for them.” Ironically, this comes from the same Hollywood crowd that has consistently vilified Trump supporters as dangerous or hateful. Meanwhile, celebrities backing Trump, like Dennis Quaid, Brett Favre, and Zachary Levi, talk about real issues affecting Americans—rising inflation, struggling families, and the erosion of the American Dream.

Brett Favre’s recent statement resonates far more with everyday Americans than Ford’s Hollywood sermon. Speaking at a rally, Favre highlighted real concerns: “The stakes are incredibly high. Families across Wisconsin are struggling to make ends meet. People’s salaries haven’t kept up with inflation. It’s getting harder for younger people to buy their first home. People are losing hope in the American dream.” Unlike Ford, Favre is talking about issues that Americans see every day.

Bottom Line: Americans Need Real Solutions, Not Hollywood Lectures

As Election Day approaches, Americans don’t need Hollywood actors with their bloated bank accounts telling them who to vote for. The stakes in 2024 are clear, and what Americans need are policies that address inflation, freedom, and prosperity—not an out-of-touch millionaire telling them what’s “reasonable.” Ford may have one vote like the rest of us, but this time, the American people are more interested in candidates who understand their values and the issues that matter to their families.
